High Point Market - Announces Design Viewpoints Series & Bonus Sessions for Spring Market 2016

High Point, NC, March 2, 2016 — The High Point Market Authority, in partnership with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), has set the schedule for its popular educational seminar series for Spring Market (April 16-20, 2016), including some bonus sessions. The Design Viewpoints Series and ASID Bonus Sessions will take place April 15-18, at the High Point Theatre, next to the Transportation Terminal in downtown High Point. Designers can earn up to .8 IDCEC approved continuing education units (CEUs) through the Design Viewpoints Series (.6 CEUs), the ASID Bonus Sessions (.1 CEUs) and the Opening Day Event (.1 CEUs).

The Design Viewpoints Series sessions are free to interior designers and retailers attending Spring Market, with the exception of the Friday extended session. On tap for the series are discussions on the importance of quality photography, laws and regulations affecting interior design businesses, securing media coverage, and a deep-dive into the key drivers of emerging trends within the interior design field.

Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority, commented, “Our research has shown that interior designers and retailers come to the High Point Market to see new products, network with peers, meet new friends, and take advantage of our Design Viewpoints Series for continuing education credit. We are excited to partner again with ASID on this seminar series, as they really have their pulse on topics of interest to our buyers.”

“By attending the popular Design Viewpoints Series, bonus sessions and the Opening Day Event, designers and retailers can accumulate a total of .8 CEUs,” said Randy Fiser, CEO of ASID. “Our collaboration with High Point Market gives ASID the opportunity to offer superior educational opportunities for our members and Market attendees during one of the industry’s most respected home furnishings shows.”
